Even with eleven years already behind it, the C4 Corvette still managed to receive the accolades of enthusiasts and critics alike. It received praise for its jaw-dropping acceleration and equally for its intense road grip and superior handling. Some upgrades from the C3 included a completely new chassis and sleeker, more modern but still evolutionary styling. There were slightly different “gills” behind front wheels, and a new windshield wiper design that was more stable at high speeds. For convertibles, such as this ‘95 Vette, Velcro strapping and water channels in the A-pillars improved draining and made the convertibles more livable. Some small tweaks for this year were a quieter cooling fan system for a more refined ride, the automatic transmission was revised with new mapping to improve shift quality, and a new torque converter was both lighter and stronger. The instrument panel also now featured a readout for the transmission fluid temperature. This car is super-clean on the interior and entire engine.
